all the members of my household our food and sustenance, generously not meagerly, honestly not otherwise, with satisfaction not pain, from Your generous hand, just as You gave a portion of bread to eat and clothes to wear to Jacob our father who was called “a plain man.” May we find love, grace, kindness and compassion in Your sight and in the eyes of all who see us. May my words in service to You be heard, as You granted Joseph Your righteous one, at the time when he was robed by his father in a cloak of fine wool, that he find grace, kindness and compassion in Your sight and in the eyes of all who saw him. May You do wonders and miracles with me, and a sign for good. Grant me success in my paths, and set in my heart understanding that I may understand, discern and fulfill all the words of Your Torah’s teachings and mysteries. Save me from errors and purify my thoughts and my heart to serve You and be in awe of You. Prolong my days (add, where appropriate: and those of my father, mother, wife, husband, son/s, and daughter/s ) in joy and happiness, with much strength and peace. Amen, Selah. The Leader continues with “Grant peace” below. The congregation says: The Kohanim say: WI Majestic One on high who 4253) Master of the Universe: we have done what dwells in power: You are peace You have decreed for us. So too may You deal with and Your name is peace. May it be us as You have promised us. Look down from Your Deut. 26 Your will to bestow on us and on holy dwelling place, from heaven, and bless Your Your people the house of Israel, people Israel and the land You have given us as You life and blessing as a safeguard promised on oath to our ancestors, a land flowing for peace. with milk and honey. The Leader continues: Dib O°’ Grant peace, goodness and blessing, life, grace, loving-kindness and compassion to us and all Israel Your people. Bless us, our Father, all as one, with the light of Your face, for by the light of Your face You have given us, LORD our God, the Torah of life and love of kindness, righteousness, blessing, compassion, life and peace. May it be good in Your eyes to bless us and all Your people Israel, at every time, in every hour, with Your peace. Blessed are You, LORD, who blesses His people Israel with peace. ; The following verse concludes the Leader's Repetition of the Amida (see law 369). May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Ps.19 find favor before You, LORD, my Rock and Redeemer.
