ima? Those who keep the Sabbath and call it a delight shall rejoice in Your kingship. The people who sanctify the seventh day shall all be satisfied and take delight in Your goodness, for You favored the seventh day and declared it holy. You called it "most desirable of days" in remembrance of Creation. wring Our God and God of our ancestors, find favor, please, in our rest. Make us holy through Your commandments and grant us our share in Your Torah. Satisfy us with Your goodness, grant our souls joy in Your salvation, and purify our hearts to serve You in truth. In love and favor, LORD our God, grant us as our heritage Your holy Sabbath, so that all Israel who sanctify Your name may find rest on it. Blessed are You, LORD, who sanctifies the Sabbath. And their meal-offerings and wine-libations as ordained: three-tenths of an ephah for each bull, two-tenths of an ephah for the ram, one-tenth of an ephah for each lamb, wine for the libations, a male goat for atonement, and two regular daily offerings according to their law. Those who keep the Sabbath and call it a delight shall rejoice in Your kingship. The people who sanctify the seventh day shall all be satisfied and take delight in Your goodness, for You favored the seventh day and declared it holy. You called it "most desirable of days" in remembrance of Creation. Our God and God of our ancestors, find favor, please, in our rest, and on this Sabbath day renew for us the coming month for good and blessing, joy and gladness, deliverance and consolation, sustenance and support, good lives and peace, pardon of sin and forgiveness of iniquity (From Marheshvan to Adar 11 in a Jewish leap year [see page 1387]: and atonement of transgression), and may this month see an end to all our troubles, and the beginning and opening of our redemption. For You have chosen Your people Israel from all nations; You have made known to them Your holy Sabbath, and instituted for them rules for the New Moon. Blessed are You, LORD, who sanctifies the Sabbath, Israel and the New Moons. ; a » Continue with "Find favor" on the next page.
