May it be Your will, LORD my God, God of my ancestors, that envy of no man may rise up in me, nor envy of me in any other; that I will not be angry today, nor make You angry; and save me from my evil impulse, placing humility and modesty into my heart. Our King and God, make Your name One in Your world; build up Your city, establish Your House and complete Your Sanctuary, gather in the exiles, redeem Your flock, and have Your congregation rejoice. Act for the sake of Your name; act for the sake of Your right hand; act for the sake of Your Torah; act for the sake of Your holiness. That Your beloved ones may be delivered, save with Your right hand and answer me. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart find favor before You, LORD, my Rock and Redeemer.

May it be Your will, LORD our God and God of our ancestors, that the Temple be rebuilt speedily in our days, and grant us a share in Your Torah. And there we will serve You with reverence, as in the days of old and as in former years. Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem will be pleasing to the LORD as in the days of old and as in former years.

A person undertaking a personal fast says the following in Minha before the fast:
English
Master of all worlds, I hereby take upon myself before You a voluntary fast tomorrow. May it be Your will, LORD my God and God of my ancestors, that You accept me in love and favor, that my prayer may come before You, and that You may answer my entreaty in Your great compassion, for You hear the prayer of every mouth.

On the afternoon of the fast, the following is said:

Master of all worlds, it is revealed and known to You that when the Temple stood, a person who sinned would offer a sacrifice, of which were offered only the fat and blood, yet You in Your great compassion granted atonement. Now I have fasted, and my fat and blood have been diminished. May it be Your will that this diminution today of my fat and blood be as if I had offered them before You on the altar, and may You show me favor.
