GEULA FOR SHABBAT HOL HAMO' ED In years in which the first and eighth days of Pesah fall on Shabbat, and there is no Shabbat Hol HaMo’ed, the following is said on the eighth day. Hasten, my Beloved, to Your peaceful abode! / And though we have wearied You with our corrupted ways, / behold, we have suffered every sort of pain; / and You, Lorp, are our Stronghold and Hope. / For You we wait all the day, / for You to redeem us, and make us like a watered garden. Hasten, my Beloved, to the site of our Sanctuary! / And though our iniquity has gone beyond our heads, / behold, our bodies have been bound in iron chains; / and You, Lorn, are our Light, our Holy One. / It is to You that we pour out our whispered prayers / that You, from Your holy abode, might redeem us and set us free. Hasten, my Beloved, to our City of Righteousness! / And though we did not heed the voice of our Vindicator, / behold, our destroyers have devoured us with open mouths; / and You, Lor», are our Judge, our Lawgiver. / It is upon You that we cast our burden, / that You redeem us, supporting us in tranquility and safety. Hasten, my Beloved, to the Tent of Meeting, Your Lofty Abode! / And though we were unwilling to burden ourselves with Your yoke, / behold, they have afflicted us with all methods of abuse;but You, Lorn, bring joy to the aggrieved. It is You we await, to loosen our bindings,to redeem us, making us great beyond our borders. Hasten, my Beloved, to the most exalted mountain! And though we have acted arrogantly, unrestrained, / behold, we have been overtaken by many terrible evils; / and You, 1,0 are a God of salvation. / It is You we beseech when we cry out in prayer, / that You might redeem us, and adorn us with the delight of salvation. For the sake of the ancestors, redeem the descendants, bringing salvation to their children’s children. Blessed are You, Lor, who redeemed Israel. On Shabbat Hol HaMo’'ed, say the Amida on page 540. On Yom Tov, say the Amida on page 816.
