English
GEULA FOR THE SEVENTH DAY OF PESAH The day the depths turned to dry land, the redeemed ones sang a new song of praise. The day You were glorified through our oppressor, / You demonstrated Your love for me, / establishing Your praise out of the mouths of babes. Cunningly, You caused / the Anamite daughter's [Egypt's] feet to sink, / while the footsteps of the beloved Shulamite [Israel] remained lovely in their sandals. All those who saw me sang / when they witnessed Your glory: / “There is none like the God of Israel” - 80 shall our enemies testify. May You raise my banner as You did then / over the remnants of my people, / and gather the dispersed like one who gleans grain. Those who have forged with You / a covenant with Your seal, / and from the womb, are circumcised for Your name’s sake. They display their signs / for all to see; / to the corners of their garments they have attached fringes. For whom was this Torah written? / Please acknowledge the truth! / Whose is the seal and whose are the threads? Betroth her once more, / never to be banished again, / and let herriseas the sun making all the shadows flee. Your beloved nation exalted You / greeting You with song: / Whois like You among the mighty, O Lorp? For the sake of the ancestors, redeem the descendants, bringing salvation to their children’s children. Blessed are You, Lorn, who redeemed Israel. Continue with the Amida on page 816.
