Haftarah For Seventh Day Of Pesah

Awesome God, His way is perfect; the LORD’s words are pure, He is the shield of all who take refuge in Him; for who is God, if not the LORD? Who is a Rock, if not our God? Awesome God, my Stronghold of strength, who perfects my way; He makes my feet like a deer’s, and stands me here in high places; He trains my hands for war, and He sets a copper bow in my arms. You have given me Your shield of protection; in descending to me, You have made me great. You widened my steps beneath me and my feet did not stumble; I pursued my enemies and destroyed them, I did not return until they were consumed; I consumed and crushed them so they could not rise, and they fell beneath my feet. You have girded me with the strength for war; those who rose against me, You have subdued beneath me; You gave me the necks of my enemies, my haters, so I could cut them down. They looked for help, but there was no rescuer; to the LORD, but they were not answered. And I ground them like dust of the earth, like mud in the streets I stamped and crushed them. You have saved me from disputes in my people; You have kept me to be aruler of nations — a people I have not known will serve me, a foreign people will submit to me; become weak and come trembling out of their fortresses. The LORD lives, blessed is my Rock, exalted; God, Rock of my salvation. Awesome God who avenges me, and who sinks peoples beneath me, who brings me out from before my enemies, and raises me above those who rise against me; from the man of violence, You save me. Therefore, I will thank You, LORD, among the nations, and to Your name I will sing praise. Tower of Salvation to His king, He shows kindness to His anointed, to David and his descendants for ever.
