the day following the [Pesah] rest day. And on the day of waving the omer, you shall offer an unblemished yearling lamb as a burnt-offering to the LORD. And its meal-offering shall be two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering consumed by fire, a pleasing scent for the LORD; its libation shall be a fourth of a hin of wine. You may not eat any bread, roasted grains or fresh kernels (of the new harvest) until this day, until you bring the offering of your God - this is an eternal ordinance for all your generations in all of your dwellings. And you shall count seven complete weeks from the day following the s#Et1sH1 [Pesah] rest day, when you brought the omer as a wave-offering. To the Leesan day after the seventh week you shall count fifty days. Then you shall pres ent a meal-offering of new grain to the LORD. You shall bring two loaves from your settlements as a wave-offering: they shall be made from two tenths of an ephah of fine flour; they shall be baked as leavened bread; first harvest for the LORD. And with this bread you shall offer seven unblemished yearling lambs, one young bullock and two rams: all as a burnt-offering to the LORD along with their meal-offerings and wine libations, an offering consumed by fire, a pleasant scent for the LORD. And you shall bring one male goat for atonement and two yearling lambs as a peace-offering. And the priest shall wave them over the loaves made from the first harvest as a wave-offering in the presence of the LORD, and upon the two lambs — they shall be sanctified to the LORD», for the priest. And you shall proclaim on that day ~ it shall be a sacred assembly for you: you may not perform any laborious work — this is an eternal ordinance for all your generations in all of your dwellings. And when you reap the grain of your land, do not finish reaping the corner of your field, and do not collect the fallen remnants of your harvest: you must leave them for the poor and for the stranger — Iam the LORD your God.
