bound up in their clothes, slung over their shoulders. And the chil dren of Israel did as Moses commanded: they asked the Egyptians for silver vessels, golden vessels, and clothing. And the LORD caused the people to find favor in the eyes of the Egyptians — they let them have what they asked, and [thus the Israelites] depleted Egypt. The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron: These are the laws of the ¥AmMisHi Pesah offering: no stranger shall eat of it. Every man’s slave that is oe bought for money must first be circumcised; after that he may eat of it. A sojourner or hired laborer may not eat of it. It must be eaten in one house — you may not take any of its meat outside the house, and you may not break any of its bones. All the community of Israel shall observe this. *Ifa proselyte lives among you and brings a Pesah (Shabbat: , SHEVI'I) offering to the LORD», he must circumcise all of his males — then he may come and offer it, just as one home-born in your land — no one uncircumcised may partake of it. The same law shall apply to one born in your land and to the proselyte who dwells among you. All of the children of Israel did as the LoRD commanded Moses and Aaron; that is what they did. It was on that very day that the LORD brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, in all their hosts.
