I and HE: save us, please. HYWiND As You saved the mighty ones in Lud with You coming down for Your people’s deliverance — save us, please. As You saved nation and God together [the people] called for God’s salvation - save us, please. As You saved the crowding hosts, and angelic hosts along with them — save us, please. As You saved pure ones from the grip of slavery, Gracious One; enslaved in cruel hands - save us, please. As You saved those submerged between slices of the deep, and brought Your own glory through it with them — save us, please. As You saved the stem as they sang “And God saved” — but the Deliverer reads it “God was saved” — save us, please. As You saved, and You said, “I took you out,” but let it be pointed “I was taken out with You”- _save us, please. As You saved those who encompassed the Altar, bearing their willows to encircle the Altar — save us, please. As You saved the Ark of wonders that was wronged, tormenting Philistia with fury, and saving it — save us, please. As You saved the communities You sent away to Babylon, being sent too, for them, Your compassionate Self- save us, please. As You saved the returning exiles of the tribes of Jacob; so come back and return the exiles of the tents of Jacob — and save us, please. As You saved those who kept Your commandments and waited for salvation, / God of all salvation — and save us, please.
