For Your sake their descendants’ blood was spilled like water. Turn to us, for troubles engulf our souls like water. Cong: For their righteousness’ sake grant abundant water. Leader: For You, LORD our God, make the wind blow and the rain fall. Congregation then Leader, responsively: For blessing, and not for curse. Cong: Amen. For life, and not for death. Cong: Amen.
