HAKAFOT In Maariv and Shaharit of Simhat Torah the following is said after Full Kaddish (page 556). HN AN You have been shown [these things] so that you may know _Deut. 4 that the LORD is God; besides Him there is no other. To the One who alone does great wonders, His loving-kindness is forever. Ps. 136 ‘There is none like You among the heavenly powers, my LORD, Ps. 86 and there are no works like Yours. May the LORD’s glory be forever; may the LORD rejoice in His works. Ps. 104 May the LORD’s name be blessed from now and forever. Ps. 113 May the LORD our God be with us as He was with our ancestors; 1 Kings 8 may He never leave us or forsake us. Say, “Save us, God our Savior; gather and deliver us from the nations, 1 Chr. 16 that we may give thanks to Your holy name, that we may glory in praise of You.” The LORD is King, the LORD was King, the LORD will be King for ever and all time. The Lord will give strength to His people; Ps. 29 the LORD will bless His people with peace. May our words find favor before the LORD of all. The Ark is opened. Whenever the Ark set out, Moses would say, Num. 10 “Arise, LORD, and may Your enemies be scattered; may those who hate You flee before You.” Advance, LORD, to Your resting place, You and Your mighty Ark. Ps, 132 Your priests are clothed in righteousness, and Your devoted ones sing for joy. For the sake of Your servant David, do not reject Your anointed one. In that day they will say, Is. 25 “This is our God; we trusted in Him, and He saved us. This is the Lorb, we trusted in Him; let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.” Your kingdom is an eternal kingdom, Ps. 145 and Your dominion is for all generations. For the Torah shall come forth from Zion Is.2 and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. Father of compassion, favor Zion with Your goodness; rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Ps. 51 For we trust in You alone, King, God, high and exalted, Master of worlds.
