ii” ila ha cS a a I a ac Ra ka a aac ie ~ May He who makes peace in His high places, make peace for us and all Israel — and say: Amen. py May it be Your will, LORD our God and God of our ancestors, that the Temple be rebuilt speedily in our days, and grant us a share in Your Torah. And there we will serve You with reverence, as in the days of old and as in former years. Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem Mal. 3 will be pleasing to the LORD as in the days of old and as in former years. The following is omitted on days when Tahanun is not said (see page 140). JPW Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains; Ps. 36 Your judgments like the great depths. O LORD, You save both man and beast. Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the highest heights, Ps. 71 for You have done great things. O God, who is like You? Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, Ps. 119 and Your Torah is truth. FULL KADDISH Leader: bam Magnified and sanctified may His great name be, in the world He created by His will. May He establish His kingdom, make His salvation flourish, and hasten His messiah, in your lifetime and in your days, and in the lifetime of all the house of Israel, swiftly and soon — and say: Amen. All: May His great name be blessed for ever and all time. Like words we say at a funeral, they are an acceptance of loss as God's just decree. Because of these sad associations, the verses are not said at celebratory times of the year when Tahanun is not said.
