On Shabbat, the congregation stands and, together with the Leader, says:
Ex. 31
English
The children of Israel must keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath in every generation as an everlasting covenant. It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel for ever, for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, but on the seventh day He ceased work and refreshed Himself.

English
Leader: Magnified and sanctified may His great name be, in the world He created by His will. May He establish His kingdom, make His salvation flourish, and hasten His messiah, in your lifetime and in your days, and in the lifetime of all the house of Israel, swiftly and soon - and say: Amen. All: May His great name be blessed for ever and all time. Leader: Blessed and praised, glorified and exalted, raised and honored, uplifted and lauded be the name of the Holy One, blessed be He, beyond any blessing, song, praise and consolation uttered in the world - and say: Amen.
