‘172 Bless this year for us, LORD our God,
and all its types of produce for good.
Inwinter: Grant dew and rain as a blessing
In other seasons: Grant blessing
on the face of the earth, and from its goodness satisfy us,
and grace our year as the best of years, as a blessing,
for You are the good and beneficent God,
who gives the years their blessing.
Blessed are You, Lorn,
who blesses the years.
INGATHERING OF EXILES
ypn Sound the great shofar for our freedom,
raise high the banner to gather our exiles,
and gather us together speedily
from the four quarters of the earth back to our land.
Blessed are You, Lorn,
who gathers the dispersed of His people Israel.
JUSTICE
Maw Restore our judges as at first,
and our counselors as at the beginning,
and remove from us sorrow and sighing.
May You alone, Lor», reign over us soon
with loving-kindness and compassion,
with righteousness and justice.
Blessed are You, Lorp,
the King who loves righteousness and justice.
/ Between Rosh HaShana & Yom Kippur, end the blessing: the King of justice. /
