Prayer After Recovery from Illness

ninbp atby God of forgiveness, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, abounding i in love, I acknowledge before You with a broken and contrite heart that I have sinned and done evil in Your sight. I hereby repent of my evil and turn to You in complete repentance. Help me, God of my salvation, that I may not turn to folly again, but instead walk before You in truth and integrity. Gladden Your servant's heart, for to You, Lor», I lift up my soul. Ps. 86 Heal me, Lorp, and I will be healed, save me and I will be saved, for You are Jer.17 my glory. Amen and Amen! Then continue with: XaX O great, mighty and awesome God: By Your great love I come before You to offer thanks for all the good You have bestowed on me. In my distress I called to You and You answered me; from my sick bed I cried to You, and You heard my voice and my pleas. You chastened me severely, Lorn, but You did not hand me over to death. In Your love and compassion You lifted my soul from the grave. For Your anger is for a moment, Your favor for a lifetime. At night there may be weeping, but in the morning there is joy. The living, Js.38 only the living, praise You as I do this day. My soul which You have redeemed shall tell of Your wonders to the children of men.
