The Traveler's Prayer

THE TRAVELER'S PRAYER If one intends to return home on the same day, add the words in parentheses: ji¥77? May it be Your will, Lorp our God and God of our fathers, to lead us to peace, direct our steps to peace, guide us to peace, and bring us to our desired destination in life, joy and peace (and bring us back to our home in peace). Rescue us from any enemy or ambush on the way, and from all afflictions that trouble the world. Send blessing to the work of our hands, and let us find grace, kindness and compassion from You and from all who see us. Hear our pleas, for You are a God who listens to prayer and pleas. Blessed are You, Lorn, who listens to prayer. May the Lorn guard your going out and your return, Ps, 121 from now and for all time.
